Hi, I'm part of the Cravens family, and at one opoint in our line, we come in contact with the Priest family. I have enough information on James Avasco Priest (b. 2 Oct 1836; d. 09 Oct 1910; married to Gertrude Cravens), but I am looking for more information on his children, mainly Mildred (b. 08 Nov 1863). The only things I know of Mildred are her birthdate, that she was living in Michigan in 1928, and who her family was. I am asking, because I would like to contact her decendants to inquire the whereabouts of the Cravens Family Bible, something she was last know in possession of. Her cousin, Lee Belle mentions the family bible in a letter to her, "a sworn statement of Aunt Trude and Unle Vack's marriage is an exact copy of the Bible statement, but you have to Bible and can easily swear to the exacttruth of the statement." This is an excerpt of a letter from Le Belle Cravens to her cosin Mildred Priest, wtritten October 23, 1928 about her D.A.R. application and membership.
Any help in this area would be greatly apprecitiated.
