Thomas, I have just run across your response and noticed the Priest tie-in with Holland, etc. My ggggrandmother was a Priest, first noted in the 1820 U.S. census, she was married to James Wilson. My deceased Dad said a number of times that our grandmother, Nancy Priest, was of Dutch descendancy, but I've not been able to verify it. I would really appreciate hearing more of your thinking (and knowledge) regarding the Priest, or DePriest, and the Holland/Belgium connection. Would you drop me a line at docnhim@infionline.net?
