Thanks for your reply. Regrettably, I don't have much information to go on in trying to find the Priest family to whom my gr-grandmother belongs - but here's what I do know:
From her first marriage to [Unk] Haddon at least one child was born, Lerna "Lernie" M. Haddon (b. 26 Jun 1897 Kennett, Dunklin Co., MO; d. 15 Jul 1995 Kennett, Dunklin Co., MO). Lernie married Whitson "Whit" Kimbrow (1893-1973), and they remained in Kennett, MO. I vaguely recall from my childhood occasional references to "Aunt Lernie" and "Aunt Deanie" (they would have been my great-aunts, whom I never met, to my knowledge), and believe Lernie had at least one full Haddon sister whose nickname was Deanie. I don't know anything else about her at present, although I do have a photo of Lernie and Deanie in later years.
From Sarah Letha Priest's second marriage to Isaac Newton Holligan (b. 4 Nov 1871 MO; d. 26 Apr 1920 Buffalo, Dunklin Co., MO) at least one child was born, my grandmother, Janie Lee Holligan (b. 20 Nov 1906 Zenith, AR; d. 4 Dec 1995 Mountain Home, Baxter Co., AR). Janie married William Walter Fox (known as "Walter W. Fox") on 5 Feb 1927 in Kennett. He was born in St. Francis, Clay Co., AR, the son of William H. "Willie" Fox and Nancy Isabel Roach.
After Isaac Holligan's death in 1920 (his parents were Isaac Holligan & Sarah Elizabeth Tatum, by the way), Sarah Letha Priest married [Unk] Henderson. I do not know of any children from this marriage. Nor do I know where Sarah lived, other than the fact that her 2nd husband died in Buffalo, Dunklin Co., MO, and is buried in the Senath Cemetery according to his death certificate. Sarah Letha Priest is buried in Liberty Cemetery in Dunklin Co., MO (I'm not sure where that cemetery is, exactly).
Anyway, I'm hoping someone who knows of this family will see these posts and let me know if they have additional information that could help me learn more about any of these folks. Thanks!
