Yes, George Henry Prier is who I meant. He was my great,great grandfather. His daughter Bertha was my great grandmother. She is kind of an elusive relative because she went into a hospital when she was young,after having married Frederick Durbur and having five daughters and stayed there until her death. It would make things so much easier to work on the Prier (and all my other family trees) if I still lived in New York! But unfortunately I live in South Carolina. Is the e-mail address that is posted on genforum your current e-mail address? Or would you just rather correspond through the genforum?
