Thank you for helping to straighten out the bad information. Maria was the daughter of John Hurdle and Jane (Vosper). In my records, she was christened 25 Jan 1780 at Saint Germans, based upon LDS microfilmed copies of the Parish Registers. I also show her marriage date as 19 July 1806 from those same registers. My progenitor into Canada, was Maria's brother John. The book referenced sounds like a gem to add to one's library of reference materials. Does it list any other information on the descendants of John and Maria? For example RM's parents names and William's spouse etc. Its been several years now since I've actively looked at Prideaux and I always thought (until now) that it was an uncommon surname. Boy was I wrong. Now I'm going to see if I can track down a copy of the book here in Canada. BTW: Are you descended from RM? Thanks for your help. Brian
