I believe that I have found Woolsey's wife Rachel in Caswell County, North Carolina. Unfortunately, she appears to have been married before Woolsey (no children) and I have not been able to find her maiden name. Still looking.

DB B:386 - Woolsey Pride in right of his wife Rachel of Caswell, to James Robinson of same, for 100 lbs., 263 acres both sides Cane Creek adj. Archd. Murphey, Frederick Debow, Archibald Campbell, Ephraim Gold. 03 May 1784. Wts: Ad Murphey, Susannah C. Vaughn, Shadrack Hudson.

1778 March. GOLD, EPHRAIM; Rachel (wife), William Gold (nephew)
Ephraim Gold appeared on the 1777 Tax List in Caswell County.
