Nancy Pritchett was the daughter of James Pritchett and his wife, Nancy. I do not have the ancestry of the parents.
Nancy is named in the will of her father:

(will) 05 27 1797 - 05 04 1811 - Nancy Pritchet, wf; Peter, James & John Pritchett sons; Sarah Pritchett, dau; Jesse Pritchett; William Fairchild & John Ragan, Exs; William Barren, Resea Mathews & Berreman Waters Wits; William Russell, Rufus Easton & Alexander McNair Exs; Nancy P & Henry Carter (of Perry Co., TN) dau, s i l; Betsy Pritchett; Jacob Swofford s i l; Sion Pritchett (of Batesville Ark. Nancy and Henry Carter were in Perry County, Tennessee in 1825, per probate papers.
It isn’t clear where James Pritchett died or the cause of death, but the will was probated in St. Louis. Among his possessions were surveying instruments and a number of notes owed him.
James and Peter Pritchett were early settlers near Point Labadie in Franklin County, Missouri. Records also show members of the family at one time or another in Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas.
