Thanks so much for the info, John and Mary are my GGGG grandparents through their son Edward.
I'm aware of the First Presbyterian Church Burying Ground as well as the marriage records in fact John and Mary's marriage is listed there--- John Price and Polly Willis August 20, 1809 -- Mary's middle name is Polly after her mother.
I've been able to trace Mary's line back to the 1600s she is related to some of Elizabethtown's first families like Mitchell, Marsh, Miller and Clark but John is one of my brick walls.
I thought David Price was their son but was not 100% sure, I checked the 1850 NJ census for him with no luck now I know why- he was in Rhode Island I will check there for him.
In 1820 John and Mary lived in New York, New York with 3 sons and 2 daughters I know the sons are David, John and Edward..... I'm not sure who the daughters are but in the 1850 NJ census I found Mary P. Price twice, once living with her son John in Newark and also living with a Joseph Taylor and his wife Charlotte in Elizabeth... Charlotte was 39 so she could be one of the daughters.
I have checked some of the Elizabeth Price's but have had no luck yet.
Thanks again for the help I really appreciate it.
