Census records seem to indicate that Joseph Price and Thomas Price were brothers.Joseph Price died ca. 1839 in Abbeville County, SC and his widow Nancy is listed in the 1850 Abbeville County, SC Census. She was born ca. 1797 in VA and died after 1880 in Bordeaux, Abbeville County, SC.Her known sons were Abraham (1822), George (1824), Hartwell (1832), and William (1835).Abraham Price married Permelia Beatty ca. 1850 in Abbeville County, SC and died there after 1880.George Price is shown living with his brother Abraham in the 1870 Abbeville County, SC Census. He apparently died without issue.Hartwell Price was a train conductor. He is shown living with his wife Maria in the 1880 Charleston County, SC Census (Summersville).I think that William Price died young as the William Price who is shown in the 1860 Abbeville County, SC Census lived some distance from Nancy Price and was the son of Pugh Price who died in neighboring Edgefield County, SC in 1853.Pugh Price was the son of Samuel Price (1752-1832) who in turn was the son of Daniel Price who died and left a will in Edgefield County, SC in 1801.
