Hi Leslie!
Like you, I have nothing documenting that Alexander Sr. married a Harless. Then again... I have found nothing or no one that has anything showing who Anna Philipini's parents were. Given the name Philipini, one would assume that she could have been named after her father, Philip. I am fairly new to this, but I learned very quickly that you don't assume anything!! I am going back to Price's Fork in the next mo. or so, and this time, instead of looking at the beautiful land, and visiting with people there, I am heading for the library and courthouse! I did meet some wonderful people there though. I checked some of your previous posts, and noticed you had been trying to find out about Martha J. Collins, I noticed they had been on here for a while, and was wondering if you had made any progress on her line? Oh..the mysterious Collins's!! If you have found out anything, please let me know. Does yourhusband have any oral history of Martha Jane. My mom told me a little about her. On my last visit to Price's Fork, My husband, my brother, my niece and I cleaned the cem. where Stewart was buried. That was a yr. ago, and it is probably grown up again. Where do you live? I live in E. Tn. Let me know if you have found anything new. I wish I could be of more help. Hopefully I will find out something in Christiansburg and Blacksburg.Later....Gayle
