There is lots of information regarding how the Prices came to be.Actually, the origin of the name Price came from Ap Rhys.Also, you may want to pick up a copy of Vina Chandler Price's book: John Price, Immigrant to Virginia 1610-1611.It is out of print, but you may be able to get a copy through interlibrary loan or through your local Family History Center.
There are many 'Prices' that came to this country from Wales, Ireland and Germany.Sorting them all out can be a challenge, but not impossible.
Try to gather up as much information as you can and interview all your older relatives.Tape record them if possible for when they are gone so is that valuable link to the past.Ask lots of questions and ask to see their pictures.
I wish someone would have encouraged me to do the same when I was much younger.
