Hello,
I have not done any archives research myself on Prevost family.
I have a Villeneuve cousin who tells me In the Charleston Marraige records of Jean Babitist and Catherine Marraige.
I have found alot about Josepth Prevost and Sophine Prevost, Prevost family of South Carolina just doing Google. com search engine. Putting in Prevost Haiti, and prevost Charleston..
I know that Josepth owned alot of Property in Charleston.
I have looked at City Census of 1861. He owned all of Wharf St. On the docks of Charleston .Have found 18th century furniture, of Prevost family. And Photo of one of his houses, doing the search engine..
Wish I could find where Catherine came from....
