The John Prettyman in question is first found in the 1850 USA census Union,Fayette, Penn.family member 237. In this census, they spell his name Pertyman. The Joshua in question is found as a son. The Daria is really David. John Prettyman is found in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 USA census at Illinois, Adams, Camp Point. The Margaret in the 1850-1860 census is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery at Camp Point Illinois. She died in 1869. He married a Margaret Heddin in 1870. After the 1860 census, he moved to Missouri where he died.
