STANLAY PRETTYMAN

I am looking for any information of Stanley Prettyman who was born in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England in 1914, the son of John Prettyman and Ann Prettyman nee Copping. Ann died in 1915 and Stanley is known to have spent time in a Dr Barnado's Home.
He joined the Merchant Navy and served during WW2.
At some point he immigrated to Sarnia, Ontario and in 1955 he owned a small business in Maxwell Street. A year or two later he was in Durand Street, again, the proprietor of a small business.

To my knowledge he never married and I am assuming given his birth date he is now deceased.

Would appreciate contact with anyone who links to his family. Heather
