For the past few years I have been working several Preston families of Garrard County. My first thought was that your Anne was a daughter of Encoh Preston. Enoch has two females born 1810 to 1820 that appear on the 1820 census only. I have not been able to identify these two females. From the age of her children Anne likely married about 1836. Had she been a daughter I think she should have been listed on the 1830 census for Enoch. With so little information it would be a real stretch to make the connection to Enoch. However, I would not rule it out. We need more information. Sometimes it is helpful to keep information on file and later it will fit with other information and good news. To that end I will tell you a little more about Enoch.

Enoch, his parents and brothers moved into Garrard County about 1805. Enoch is found on the Garrard County census for the years 1810 thru 1850. Enoch married Madalene Woods on 5-14-1807 in Garrard County.Enoch had at least 9 children of which only 4 have been identify.

I do have some more information on Enoch, mainly going back in time. If you have an interest contact me at "corkpreston@gmail.com". What I have is too large for this space and I will send it as an attachment.

Leon M Preston
