There has been a merger of the Pressly and Hearst group to one site with a few other families. Categorization will allow separation of the various archival postings as to specific primary family or families.
Postings involving these families will be archived and categorized for quick reference and hopefully permanent retention.
This is a private site specifically for, among other families, the descendants of John Hearst of Abbeville, SC, immigrant from the north of Ireland and the descendants of David and Jane Patterson Pressly, of the brothers John and David Pressly immigrants to SC, and all others of the Presslys who congregated in Abbeville District, SC, due probably to the faith which ultimately became known as the ARP one and the college later established in Due West of that District and then County, of which the Pressly family, and the Hearst family to lesser degree, and their descendants have been continuously involved.
Any one interested can write to Pressly_Hearst_Kin at the Yahoo.com mailing server with that address or to the address shown for the Kittrell group and it will be forwarded to the right place. Please give some information on your connection to these families such as branch for a few generations from any of the above or whatever you care to offer.
