OBITUARY
PRESSLEY - MRS. JANE CLOUD PRESSLEY was born August 23, 1834, and died at her home near New Hope church in Chester county, S.C., January 7, 1897.
Early in the morning, while engaged in her usual domestic duties and feeling as well or better than usual, the call came suddenly, and in a moment she was gone to the reward of the righteous. MRS. PRESSLEY was a HARDIN - one of 13 children and whom only two now survive and was married to MR. IRA PRESSLEY about 13 years ago.
She joined the Methodist church in early life and was faithful and devoted member, full of charity to the poor , student of the Bible, especially the Sunday School lessons.
The Church will sadly miss her presence and service in all pious enterprises and the entire community shares with her household sore sadness.....J. MaHaffey.
