Hi Richard,
I am Roy Pennel from Kansas, working on the genealogy of the Pennel/Pennell's.
I have beencarrying onsome correspondence with a lady concerning Joseph Judd Pennell
from NC., this week. She has been looking up stuff for me. She said she came across some of my relatives in the NC. census's and it had some of the people's last name spelled (Presenell) which she claims to be among my
line.
Now here is my question. Have you ever came across any cross overs between Presnell and Pennell
in your genealogy searching?
Had many of your relatives hale from NC.?
A lot of mine do. Also from VA.
This week is the first I had heard of the last name being spelled this way. I know it has been spelled a lot of different ways.
I am back to John Pennell and Elizabeth Ingram in VA., and they are my brick wall.

I am researching info on ancestors of John Alexander Presnell and his wife Emma Baker who at one time resided in Missouri.
I am also researching info on Joseph Dickinson and his wife Elizabeth Miller who settled originally in Pennsylvania.
Any help will be appreciated and I will share my info.
