Hi Alistair, I am hoping we have the same Prendergast famiily I have a John and Margaret Prendergast, of Glasha, Ballymacarbery, Clonmel Co Waterford. Children John, Ellen Shanley, James and Patrick to Australia 1880s and Edward and Mary to USA. John Prendergast m Anastasia English their son Joseph moved to NZ with a brother early 1900s, Our family farm in the Hawkes Bay of NZ is called Glasha after the old family farm in Ireland.
