What is the proof of Phillip's (ca 1707/8) relationship to his son (ca 1739) William? It seems well accepted that Phillip is William's father, but I have not located proof. I have books by Sharon J. Doliante, "Maryland and Virginia Colonials," and "Prater Prather Prator Praytor in America" by John W. Prather, Jr., but neither seem to offer any documentation as to relationship. Am I missing something? It appears Phillip died intestate; is William named in another document.
