The Rootsweb database is rldumas. Tks for the info on John Thomas Prather. After further searching he was quite a distant cousin to my great grandfather. John Thomas did move to Illinois for awhile and ended up in Washington State where my great grandfather was plus ended up coming up to Canada together. I would be curious to find out how they ever met in the first place.
