James William Powell is my line.
His wife Sarah Martha Prater.
I have Lucinda C. Powell b: 1859,
Married to a J.W. Prather b: 1874.
James William Powell had John Henry Powell, he married 4 times from what we gather. Was there any Indian in the Powell's by the way? Or in the Prather's?

Theodosha Pruitt
Maybe, Julia/July Pruitt, at least this is the name on my father's BC, with John Henry Powell as the father. We have no clues on her at all.
John Henry and whatever mother it was had my father, Joe Wheeler Powell, named changed to JD Powell later on. We knew only Theodosha Pruitt Powell raising my father.
Any help?
