I am looking for info on my ancestors.. Anyone bearing these names in their lineage would be of great help
My grandmother
Rosalia Kercado, Mitchell b. Fajardo ,Puerto Rico 1903
d. Chicago, Illinois 1974
Who had 3 children
Maria Dolores, Colon (my mother still living)b.San Turce
Jose Antonio Colon (my uncle still living)B. Fajardo
Angelina Colon (deceased)b.Fajardo
Sandalio Kercado (Rosalia's father)
Viviana or Viana Kercado (Rosalias mother who died giving birth to Rosalia)
Rosalia was then said to have been raised by a blind woman in Fajardo not sure of her name.
Jose Manuel Kercado (said to be Rosalia nephew)
Amador Kercado, Mitchell (said to be Rosalias bother and
possibly father to Jose Manuel Kercado) Amador would have been a Math teacher or Professor in Fajardo Puerto Rico.
I could have the info on brother and nephew confused or switched around. Brothers nickname was Papun.
Her brother was also said have been a Mason or Masson not sure which is correct spelling. From what my mother tells me they were members of some secret society????? Not sure.
This info was passed down by Rosalia to my mom whose memory is not so good these days... Not sure of accuracy of relations.
Any info regarding Kercados in Fajardo in the late 1700's up until present day would be greatly appreciated.
