Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I am the great granddaughter of: Roxie Poyer (b:8/25/1880 d:7/9/1917) and John M. Dodd Jr. (b:12/25/1879 d:6/1/1944)
(m:4/5/1898 in Gatewood, Missouri) They both died in Gatewood.

It should be noted that after Roxie died, John married Roxie’s sister, Mary Poyner (m. 12/1/1919). I noticed that in the posting by Shirley Barnes July 31, 2002 at 18:49:56 that Mary is not listed as one of Roxie’s siblings. I’ll let Shirley know so she can update her info.

Roxie and John had three children:

Mabel Dodd (b:7/7/1898 d:7/27/1970)
(m. Charles B. O’Neal)
one son - Blaine O’Neal

(m. Claude W. Harder, Sr) My link to Roxie and John
4 children - Claude W. Jr(my dad),Peggy, William and John

Clyde Dodd (b:8/6/1902 d:7/27/1970) (married Inez)

Bessie Glorn Dodd (b:12/22/1906 d:7/27/1970) (never married)

I am moving to Doniphan, Missouri (also in Ripley County) later this year and plan to follow-up on family tree. Will update you when I get the info.

Claudia from Las Vegas, Nevada
