I too am descended from a John(ironworker) and Sarah of Wolverhampton. My grandfather John went to live in the Manchester district and died in the late 1940s in Middleton nr Manchester-he was in his seventies, so he might well have been the same John referred to in the 1881 census. My mother ,daughter of John jr was Edith, she died in 1965 in Morecambe.
My Poyner uncle was David, and aunts, May(Wolfenden),Evelyn,Emmy (Smith), all desceased.Do we have the same John and Sarah?
