I am in New Zealand and I have a wedding dress that was handed down to me from my grandmother (Clara Constance Minnie Teasdale (nee Jones)). I have been told by my mother that it belonged to Matilda Powis who was married in 1848. My mother also holds a letter written by Matilda anouncing the birth of her first child in 1849.
Matilda is my great, great, great, great, grandmother on my mothers side.
I believe it goes something like, surnames only, Welsh...Teasdale...Jones...????...Powis.
Can anyone fill the question marks??
