I need help finding information about Laurence Powers, my 7th Great Grandfather. He married Elizabeth Downing Stogers in Groton CT Feb 1729-30. I can trace my roots all the way back to Laurence but can't find any thing about his birth, brothers, sisters, mother or father. Can anyone help? I have land records in CT for him. He died Feb 1775 in Herbon CT. I have hit a big time stone wall and I need help. If anyone has any information I would be very great full.
