This will be a follow up, as a grand person found the history of this family for me.
Bridget O'Brien born March 1825 in Ireland
her daughter Johanna O'Brien married James Waters. They lived at 96 Everett St. in Springfield Mass.
their children are:
1)Mary E. Waters
2)Margaret Waters
3)James Waters
Mary E. Waters married John J. Powers, she was the second wife.
combined children are;
A) Mary E.
B) Edward
C) James
D) John
Margaret Waters married Frederick P. Smith, they lived at 602 White Street in Springfield Mass.
their son is:
A) John F. - I think he has 2 sons one year apart, one lives to adulthood.
I still can't connect them to the McCormick family in Mass. and Minnesota, but I know the family names of Waters and O'Brien are in Southern Minnesota.
