My gg grandfather was Redmond Power who was married in St. John's, Newfoundland to Ann Dooling in 1839. I suspect he may have emigrated from Ireland or at least his father did. Redmond's childrens names were Pierce, Redmond, Patrick, Bridget, Mary and James. I do not know where he finally died and I do not know where he came from. I would like to communicate with anyone who also may have a Redmond Power (it is not a common name as I can tell) or any other combination of names similar to Redmond's children. Many Newfoundlanders originated from Waterford so the odds are that is Redmond came from.
