I have only the following information on Lewis Powell, Jr. and Mary HINSON: md 9 Aug 1832 in Maury Co TN. (I do have his lineage.)

My question is that elsewhere I was given that date as the date of marriage of Lewis Powell Sr (the above Lewis's father) to Betsy CHOATE.

The date of marriage between Lewis & Choate is wrong because that Lewis had died before 1830.

When were Lewis Sr. and Choate married?
When did Lewis Jr. die, and where? (Were there any children?)

Any help would be appreciate.
