The 1870 census shows Henry Kasson age 39 and Matilda age 27 with Thurston age 1 living in North Branch Twp., Wyoming County, PA.

The 1860 census shows Henry with Russell age 46 and Elizabeth age 39 in the same location. Here is someone working on the same Kasson Family: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=turner1981&id=I28439

The 1880 census shows Henry Kasson (mistakenly indexed as Kassora) age 39, Matilda age 35, Thursting age 10, Daniel H. age 6 and Eliza age 4 living in Eureka, Furnas Co. NE. It lists Matilda's parents as born in Ireland. Coincidentally next door is Isaac Powell who was also born in PA and whose parents were born in Ireland.

The 1900 census shows Matilda, born Sept 1844 as the wife of Joseph Morgan who was born Dec 1834 living in Beaver City, still in Furnas Co. The 1910 census shows Matilda as a widow and has three of her grandchildren living with her.

The 1860 census shows a Matilda Powell age 16 as a domestic
on the very next page as the Russell Kasson Family listed up above.

The 1850 census lists Matilda Powell age 6, brother Isaac age 3 with the Isaac Powell Family living in Wilmot, Bradford County, PA. Coincidentally Isaac and his wife Mary were born in Ireland. Bradford and Wyoming Counties border each other.

Some of these records you can look at for free at labs.familysearch.org and Ancestry.com. For those you can't see for free check with your local libraries to see if they have Ancestry or Heritage Quest.

If you haven't already I suggest getting Matilda's death certificate and obituary. Hopefully her obit will include her siblings' names.

I recommend contacting the Wyoming county Historical Society and the Bradford County historical Society to see if they have any info on these families.
