This was a very interesting story and I would love to know more about "indentured servants" - how do you find out just where in England they came from?? Povall is a name with, it seems, its roots in Cheshire, maybe Shropshire, at least that is what I have found so far. Would love to know more of this story. Thanks for posting this Pat, though I don't know where the Belgian silk weavers come into it!!
