Hi! I descend from Mildred Ann Gregory and Samuel Matlack. Elsewhere on the net I have found three possible children for Jane Poulter and James Arterburn, in (as you surmise) Edgard County, IL: they were James Arterburn (prob the one you name), Harriet Arterburn, and Eliza Arterburn, b. c. 1820; this last married Philip Cornwell and had a family. As near as I can tell Mildred was the only daughter of Jane Poulter and Harvey Gregory. I have no leads on Harvey Gregory's family and am curious.
