I'm another trying to trace the Poulson/Powelson line. Because they married into my family, I have caught them as being near a group of Van Meters, altho no actual records of same. The Van Meters went from Long Island to Somerset County, NJ, then to Wilmington, Delaware. We left Delaware in 1732, going to Frederick County, Maryland, and it seems that our marriages occurred about that time.
Two of the Van Meters married my relatives, and so did Agnes/Anjelitje Poulson/Powelson.
None of the Van Meter family can find their relatives of this generation, nor of any of the Powelsons. Just my luck.
I hope the new locations will give you more info.

Good Luck.

Floyd Hedges.
