Found in the Cecil Co. MD probate records for a Patrick Vice in 1723 is the payment to William Trogdon for payment due Paul Poulson for 202 lbs of tobacco. A seperate payment is made to William Trogdon for payment due him for 200 lbs of tobacco. My question is....why is payment being paid to William Trogdon for a debt due Paul Poulson????
The 1720 New Castle Co. Delaware will of Paul Poulson lists his wife Elizabeth as Exec. This will was made 13 April 1720 and probated 29 Nov. 1720.
I believe this same Wm. Trogdon (born 20 August 1695 Anne Arundel Co. MD) later appears in Frederick Co. MD in 1751. I'm trying to find history on this Wm. Trogdon.....
