I'm a Poulson decendent in Philly, and I'm trying to trace back. So far, Zachariah's family looks promising. Hopefully, someone will be able to help confirm for mr!
My g-grandfather was a Charles Joseph Poulson, (b. 1887 - d. 1956) in Pennsylvania. All of his kids grew up in Philly. He was married to Anna MacIntyre (b. 1887 - d. 1972). His siblings were William, Eliza, John, Mary & Albert (there may have been more).
His parents were William Poulson (b. 1861) and Mary Sommers (b. 1861). William was fire chief in Philadelphia, dates unknown.
I'm hoping that William leads me to Zachariah in some way.
Can anyone help?
