I can't believe that I have only just now discovered this forum. Claude is my 8th great-grandfather. When I read your posting, I got a shiver right through my body. I had no idea that his burrial place was known; and to learn that it is actually cared for... I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, whomever is responsible for this gracious act of respect.

Do you know of anyone near St Anne de Beaupre who would be willing to send me a photo of the new marker, and if possible, the old one also? My godmother ( Margaret POULIN) will be having her 68th birthday soon, and I can't think of any present that she would be happier with.

Merci/Thank you,-Brian.
