Hi everyone. If anyone can help, my daughter named Katelyn Nicole Edens and I are trying to find exactly what her ancestry is. Her father is Shawn Thomas Potts. We are in Sidney Ohio. Her father is in Wilmington Ohio. We have NO contact with her father and have had very little over the last 15 years. She is just getting curious about her background and heritage, and unfortunately, there is very little I can tell her about that side of the family. I know his father is Thomas Potts, who died in prison several years ago, and his mother is Mary Potts/Caplinger. He has several brothers and sisters. Most of them from Clinton County Ohio as well. I believe all of them carry the Potts last name. I don't know the names of great grand parents or aunts, uncles, etc... Any help in trying to put her background in order would be wonderful, as I am running into brick walls everywhere I turn. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!
