Deeds showing heirs of Joshua Potts Wayne County MO
Posted by: Melody Pryor (ID *****8971) Date: January 08, 2009 at 11:54:13

These deeds indicated that Joshua Potts has died prior to 18 Sept 1866. I would ASSUME that his wife Sarah has also died since the land is being sold and she isn't mentioned. Joshua and Sarah's daughter, Tabitha, has also died since her children, Lewis and Melissa, are sharing one eight part in the estate. Only seven children are represented in the deeds for the eight parts. Leaving either Hiram or Cynthiann as possibly having died without heir prior to 1866 and the other's deed not getting rerecorded at the courthouse.

My line is through Mary Jane Potts, Isaac Joshua Potts, Joshua Potts.

Does anyone have documentation for the parents of Joshua Potts?
