Dear Les and Betty,

Andrew Jackson Potter is the person called "Uncle Andy" by Martha "Mattie" Potter Kelly,my great grandmother, and the following 3 generations. Martha was the daughter of Thomas J. (Jefferson ?) Potter who was furloughed during the Civil War and never went back. His gravesite is unknown, but his widow is buried at Upton, near Bastrop, Texas.
I don't have a lot of info on his ancestors. I think his father was Joshua Potter who was m. 2 times. I think Joshua Potter' father was Thomas Potter of Warren County, KY.
I will be glad to exchange what info I have on the family.
Bee Ingalls
