Well a lot of water has gone over the dam since 1999 so I don't know if this will reach you.
The book is called "Potter Profiles" and is available on a CD. The link is http://www.geocities.com/potterfamilyhistory/http://www.geocities.com/potterfamilyhistory/
I found my Lorenz (Lawrence) Potter in Ohio in the 1850 census. He was living with a Jacob Potter born about 1777 in NJ. I then found a Jacob Ochsenbacher Potter born in NJ about the same time. I am trying to make a connection here. I have always wondered if there wasn't a connection to Heinrich Oxenbaker (Ochsenbacher am Deutsch).
So if you get this message and there is a connection I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks,
Jim
