Jonathan Prince was a taxpayer in the Saratoga Tax District of Albany County, NY and served in the 13th Regiment of the Albany County Militia during the Rev. War.
Elizabeth Potter Prince was the first wife of Jonathan Prince. She was also the daughter of Joseph Potter, who was an early settler in the Saratoga Tax District of Albany County, NY.
The Saratoga Tax District included land on both the east and west banks of the Hudson River between the Anthony Kill and the bridge across the Hudson at present day Ft. Edward.I have not yet figured out on which side of the Hudson Jonathan Prince lived. However, some of the other people about whom you have asked definitely lived the east side of the Hudson River, i.e. in present day Easton, Washington County, NY.
I am researching the civilian population of the Saratoga Tax District of Albany County between 1764 and 1777.I have a number of the people whom you have asked about in my database. If you contact me directly, I will be happy to share with you.
