WOW, you're right!That's not like having a horse theif in the family!Well.I'm speechless.Thanks for the link to point me to the tree though.I'll pursue some of the descendents, tho I don't know if I want to find something!May I ask where your line moved to, along the way?The David Potter I'm trying to trace shows on census records to have been born in either Virginia, Kentucky, Tenn. or Mo. I put the most weight on Virginia only because his death certificate states that.At various times he lived in Missouri, Illinois and back in Missouri.Does any of this jive with any of the Potter information you have?
