Hey, Jim: The Potter's I have, according to my great aunt's chart, include:George,(b. 1584,then his son,Robert to John, to Fisher, to Winsor to Pardon toGeorge to Albert to Walter,my grandfather. Also another line fromWilliam (m. Frances Childs) to Hannah. She m. John Mead, and that Potter line is gone to the Meads! I have a huge fan chart with some dates in the1400-1500's. Most of thespaces are filled with names, birth & death date, marriage and bride's name. There are many from RI. For instance, Roger Williams is my 11th generation gfather. Many names are hard to read, mostly on the left hand side.Im trying to find a printer that can clean it up.Maybe Joseph was a brother of John (son of John, grson of Robert and ggrson of George.George was m to Martha Tillinghast).I have run lots of stuff on the Inet, and will look back and see if I can find Joseph. What other RI lines are you descended from?Other ancestors of mine settled in CT,Mass, and in the 1800's-NY.My gfather was born in Syracuse and I can't find anything on him(walter).I have an ancestor who was executed in 1660's,Wm.Potter.I haven't been able to find out why.He was born in New Haven,CT in 1608, and hung there,as well. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ellen
