According to family history I always knew about Lannie Rebecca Poston.
Boy it sure took me long enough to figure out this puzzle.
From Frances Jane Poston - my ancestor being born in Chesterfield Sc and being buried in Georgia.
to
Lannie Rebecca Poston being born in Cheraw - Chesterfield County Sc and going to North Carolina and died ..... HER MOTHER was Flora Elizabeth Poston.
Anyway Flora Elizabeth Poston and MY Frances Jane Poston are sisters.....
And I'm pretty sure by following the census in the Chesterfield area I have hopefully figured out my tree back to Samuel Poston. The search continues and double check all my notes.
Rosie/Rosetta/Rezett (Lang) Poston had 10 children still living in the 1900 census . I still have 3 left to put onto my tree program.
Thank goodness her son called her Rezett in the 1900 census.
Been a great week here in Texas for ancestor hunting. I got three of my husbands ancestors back to Germany and one of my ancestors into Ireland.
Thank Goodness for the Faust book by Dr Faust it took us back to the 1500s, great book. Worth every dollar we paid.
I even got to shop at Ebay for some early Christmas presents, beat the rush you know. LOL
