I did not mean to ignore you and I apologize for not responding sooner but I did not have any information on Amos Turner. I was trying to do a little background research to know what I was talking about, but seem to always be running out of time. What I have found is that he lived right between two of my ancestor and in a cluster of of them. So ~ there is no doubt in my mind that the two families intermarried and were related. No one can seem to get a lot of data on Eli (Elihugh) and place him in the Poston pattern. However ~ (I have no proof to back up this "theory") but it is "my belief" that Eli is a brother to John, Thomas and the other siblings. Please understand ~ the only thing I have to go on it that they lived right next door to each other and that is not enough data to prove anything. I will appreciate you sharing your data on Amos with me so I can see if anything in my Poston files match. I am getting on in years and have little time left to do research and would like to see if I can help. Thanks,
