Yes, I have seen the Rev war pension. I find John and Rebecca Poston on the 1810- Buncombe, NC, but I can't find him earlier than that.

They were married 24 apr 1782 Lincoln, NC, so he should have been on the 1790 and 1800 census in NC, but I can't find him. There is an Elizabeth Poston/Posten, who might have been his mother living in 1790 Lincoln, NC and 1800 Iredell, NC.

Rebecca was born 1764 Lancaster, PA. Her father was a Baldridge- William.
Most recent research shows John born in 1750 Charles, MD, but I still working on that.

I have a will of John Poston (1747) Chester Co, PA, where he lists his eldest son, Robert, son John, son Anthony and daughter, Ann and his wife, Martha.

Obviously, there is another generation, prior to John and rebecca baldridge poston in nc. I am still working on this, too.

As you see, this goes on. I realize that this is not your line and you may have thrown out your research, but anything that you can give me to make a clearer picture would be great.
