I am looking for information on the children of Catherine Postlethwait and Isaac Baker. I am particularly interested to find the connection of an Ephraim Smith to this family. In Isaac's will, Ephraim Smith is mentioned as being a son-in-law and is appointed executer along with Isaac's son, also Isaac Baker. I have seen family histories indicating that he was one of 2 husbands of Catherine Baker, along with David Worley, but I have come to the conclusion that this was not likely because they are both mentioned in the will and were both witnesses to Isaac's pre-nuptial agreement with his second wife, Mary Head. Can you shed any light on which one of Isaac's daughters, if not Catherine, Ephraim could have been married to, or just what his connection.
