Postance of Worcestershire - Astley

Looking for anybody who claims Postance, Postins, Postons or any other variant of the spelling who can place themselves in or around Astley/Kidderminster in Worcestershire in 1700/1800s.

Have Samuel postance born Astley, 1795 according to Army records, but he doesn't show on the IGI. Thought his father's name might be Thomas and there's a Thomas born at that time but no Samuel. Do not know his mother's name or siblings, if any. Named his children: James, John, Sarah, Honora and Daniel.

Samuel was in the 1st Foot Guards (Grenadiers) from 1815-1836 then moved to Ireland where he died 1848.
