I am confused- marriage records of Highland County shows 1 Jacob Post who married Nancy Cunningham April 24th.1821 also 2. Jacob N. married Sarah Griffith Dec.21,1845.
24 years difference could be the son.The 1st. Jacobs family were Mary Catherine Post- Barbara E. Post and Adam Cunningham.(Jacob) follows on my records. He married Hetty P.?????He is buried in Dunkard Cemetery. Their children were Mary Jane. 1861 Jacob 1862- Annie S. 1864- George 1867 and Adam C. born June 28th 1869 died Feb. 9th. 1871 age 1-7-9.Adam Post buried Flat Run Cemetery.
I need to find out who my great great grandmothers parents were. She is Mary Ann Post who married James Stoops.A lot of marriage between Stoops-Posts- Cunninghams- My great grandmother was their daughter Jemima (Stoops) who married David Sanders.
